The Easter egg hunt will take place on the Saturday after Easter this year to avoid conflicts with spring break and Easter holiday plans, similar to last year. We are planning to place 1500 eggs for the approximately 50 kids that we expect to have based on prior years. This event is a blast every year, so come to the north park with your family to join in the fun!
Thank you to the majority of homeowners and condo members that have already paid your 2026 dues! And thank you to those who saved our association money on postage by paying using the e-mailed invoice. Any unpaid electronic invoices have been sent by mail on March 5th. For members who have not yet paid, please pay your dues prior to April 1st to avoid interest penalties!
Invoicing for 2026 HOA dues are going out starting February 8th. For those residents that have an e-mail on file with the association, we will be e-mailing a link to pay dues through QuickBooks. Any unpaid electronic invoices will be mailed as a paper invoice in a few weeks. Please save the association money on postage by paying your dues online! For those without an e-mail or those with outstanding balances from prior years, we will mail an invoice initially.
Reminder that dues are $294 per house and $147 per condo for 2026. These dues were voted on by HOA members in attendance in person or by proxy at the 2025 Annual Meeting in November 2025.
Please join your neighbors on Wednesday, November 5th at Cooke School (21200 Taft Rd) for our annual meeting. Registration begins at 6:30pm and the meeting will begin at 7pm. If you do not plan to attend, please fill out the proxy that was mailed to you (and return to a neighbor or board) or the online proxy form on the website. You can view the 2025 Newsletter here: 2025 LCA HOA Newsletter. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting!
The association has a permit for garage sales from Thursday, June 19th to Saturday, June 21. Anyone within the association (houses and condos) are able to hold a garage sale on these days and are covered by the permit. Feel free to add signs to direct people to your home, but please dispose of them after the garage sale is over.
The association is hosting a Summer Kick-Off event with a food truck on Thursday, June 12th at 5:30pm at the North Park to celebrate the end of school and the start of summer! Feel free to bring outdoor games to play with your neighbors. The pickleball court will also be available for use. The food truck will serve Mexican food from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and is CASH ONLY. We hope to see you there!
The lines are painted and the net is in place in the parking lot at the north park! The court is available on a first come, first serve basis and is for Lexington Commons members only! See the Amenities page for a map of where the parking lot is located. If the pickle ball court gets lots of use then we may look for a more permanent solution in the coming years.
The Easter Egg Hunt was a lot of fun this year! We had almost 50 kids participate in the hunt, searching for approximately 1,500 Easter Eggs. Thank you to Matthew Guibord and his wife, Andrea, for ordering the goodies for the eggs and stuffing them all. We hope that everyone had a blast!
After many years of work on the board, Todd Farmer has decided that 2024 was his last. We thank Todd for all his contributions over the years and hope he has a relaxing "retirement" from board life. We welcomed one new board member in 2025, Megan Gardner, who is now president of our HOA. You can see the other members serving on our board by accessing the Meet the Board link in the navigation menu.
